Questions and Answers
Is this table foldable pool table smaller than a normal pool table?
Yes. The World Standardised Rules of pool (International), specify 9 × 4.5 ft and 8 × 4 ft tables. For a 9-ft table, the playing surface would be 100 inches (254 cm) by 50 inches (127 cm). An 8-ft table would measure 92 inches (234 cm) by 46 inches (117 cm).
In the UK as well as a number of other Commonwealth and European countries, a pool table is usually 7-foot or sometimes 6-foot for the domestic market.
7-foot tables are also found in North American amateur leagues and in bars. The playing field for a 7-foot table is 76 inches (193 cm) by 38 inches (96.5 cm).
Does this table come with its own pool cues?
Yes. Two pool cues are included. You also get a black plastic triangle rack, 2 chalks and a brush for the table cloth. And a set of billiard balls. So you can start playing right away.
How long is the pool cues that come with the table?
The length of the pool cues are 36 inches. The pool balls are 1.5 inches (FYI).
Are these fold away pool tables flimsy?
Not necessarily. This particular fold up pool table features a decent MDF playing surface that provides a consistent roll and generally resists warping. The green cloth material on this table should withstand regular use too. Can’t see that the folding legs should give any real problems either unless abused.
